About me
- Grew up in Mancot, lives in Hope
- Almost thirty years in England, in digital and strategy
- Teaches locally and volunteers with Careers Wales
- Speaks about technology and AI in plain English
I grew up in Mancot and came home to North Wales after almost thirty years in England working in digital and strategy. There is nowhere I would rather be.
Hope is home. I love its people, its history, our stunning local church and the countryside around it. I want to see it remain a safe and pleasant place where our families and community can thrive.
These days I teach locally, volunteer with Careers Wales, and speak at events about technology and AI, usually in plain English for people who don't work in tech.
What I'm doing for Hope
- Listening. I'm asking residents what matters most to them, and sharing what I hear.
- Chasing. When something needs fixing, I report it, follow it up, and keep a public record of how long it takes.
- Sharing. I run Live in Hope, a free community hub with planning, roadworks, events and a monthly update. Visit Live in Hope
Free digital and AI help sessions
I'd like to give something back. These sessions cover everyday digital skills and AI. They are free, friendly and pitched for complete beginners.
Getting started online
Email, video calls, online forms and finding your way around the internet, at your own pace.
Staying safe online
Spotting scams, fake texts and phishing emails, strong passwords, and keeping your accounts secure.
AI for beginners
What tools like ChatGPT and Claude actually are, what they're good for, and how to use them sensibly and safely.
Sessions are held in public community venues in and around Hope. Register your interest and I'll let you know when the next one is running.
Sessions are for adults aged 18 and over, in group settings in public venues such as the library or a church hall.
I'll never ask for your passwords or bank details.
Stay in touch
Hear about my work for Hope, new help sessions, and what I'm chasing.
About one email a month, never more. You can unsubscribe at any time, and I never share your details.
